I'd definitely try an ICS MP5A4. They're pretty much exclusively CQB guns (Don't try field with them), but it is in that area that they really do shine. They're great quality inside and out, highly realistic, and feature the split gearbox.

You'll also need a battery and charger. I assume you already have a charger, so for the battery just pick up a good Intellect (you've played a bit, so I assume you'll know which type you need too).

For the ICS I'd recommend you use Airsoft Elite .25g's.

EDIT: Ok, Em4's post completely demolished one. If you can pick up a CA MP5 with that many extras for that cheap, don't even consider buying new.

PM blitzcraig on ASF. He has a CA Mp5 with a tri rail, red dot and battery and 5 midcaps for $150. Ive seen it run. It's fantastic.

I have held this in the store and it is as solid as the ground. But due to insurance reasons i couldnt shoot it. but www.precisionairsoft.net is a very reliable store and the owner of the store told us that it was ca level.

Don't listen to any of these people, get that used CA.

I know its not a CA, but you might want to look at the G&G series of MP5s. I own a M4 and love it. Here is a link to a full metal one, which is $250.

Also you might need to downgrade the spring in these, but one review on the Pro line says that his was shooting around 330 FPS. Perfect for CQB.
